School Shooting in Santa Clarita Forum/Discussions/Ideas

Hello everyone! I wish I was here to deliver news on a more joyful tone but something very grim has happened today. After watching the youtube video I shared with you, I am deeply troubled by the sad act of violence AND suicide of the young man. Anyone that wants to share something in the comment you are more than welcome to, and I will respond accordingly. I believe BSU should raise some awareness at GOHS. Not only was the guy who committed the shooting a man of some color (Asian) but, nevertheless it was his birthday. I know that African American families sometimes have a really hard time talking about mental health and I am sure or I'd like to think it may be the same way with Asian individuals as well. Stress, depression, and anxiety is a thing. There was also I believe 3 other individuals who were wounded as well. The Black Student Union is a SAFE PLACE to release and speak you opinion, please don't hesitate. We are here to unite all our people regardless of race. Thank you. - Officer of BSU Phylicia Joseph
