BSU participates in the Sidewalk Chalk Contest!!!

Good morning BSU crew! I hope all is well and I wanted to give our members a complete overview and look at the 2 murals we created in honor of the Say His Name/Say Her Name movement with "Justice for" the said victims on the picture because of their killer's unjustified outcomes. The event was extremely fun with music, water, chalk, and paint. Everyone contributed to this project beautifully and it shows. Huge thanks to Margot L., Rae A., Guylan B., Ariell B., Nico K., and Onika P.

(Who you will meet soon:)

Don't forget to follow @still.icons.byonika for professional pictures!

These photos have already been submitted to Don Skaggs in the time period and I also think it's important to note that the murals lasted 5 days. There are a significant amount of white individuals in the area that most likely called HOA (even though the picnic tables were in a public area on a grass field owned by NO ONE) and had 2 workers who actually called the artwork beautiful paint over the picnic tables brown. I understand first handily how infuriating that might be. Me and 7 people took our time working on it! But it shows how ignorant individuals are and how important it is that BSU continues to speak up against the outcomes of those cases. We still got the pictures and received only good feedback from onlookers but there are obviously some that were not happy.

Here are the photos and the link Here! (The photos are of better quality)

And here are some more photos of us "at work"
